Le Cinque Terre and the Gulf of Poets

Since 1997 included by UNESCO in the list of World Heritage Sites, the Cinque Terre national Park is considered an unique cultural landscape. Five villages of land and sea of medieval origin perched one stone spurs and developed along five miles of rocky coast, among miles and miles of dry stones walls planted with vines.

Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore are unmissable stops just a few kilometres from Versilia. The Cinque Terre are characterized by type of coast overlooking the blue sea of Liguria where beautiful caves, rocks with deep seabed and rich in fish varieties, make this area an authentic work of art of nature.
